Can’t wait to see the final product of Art House Dallas. This place is going to be a hub for the arts. So awesome.

Gum chewing and tattooing…

Well, I did it! My outline is finished and it looks amazing!I love it so much already and it’s not even done yet.

Overall the experience was a great one. Obscurities has a great chill atmosphere and everyone there was super cool. I was a little nervous at first but once Josh(artist) and I started going over the piece I immediately felt better.  He drew the piece on my right shoulder; great placement. As soon as I was able to sit my hubby grabbed my gum and let me tell you, I chewed the heck out of it. Haha!

There were parts of the tattooing that most definitely hurt. Mainly the small sensitive part near the front of my arm pit and across my chest over my sternum. Those hurt the worst. Especially when he used the gun that had the thicker needle. That one was NOT my favorite. Honestly it was more uncomfortable than anything. I tried to focus more on the vibrations of the gun than the pricking. It seemed to help me relax more and the gum chewing helped me focus my breathing.

Once it was over I almost cried. Not because of the pain, I actually did pretty well at sitting and never got emotional. I almost cried then because once I saw the product in the mirror it was… spiritually moving. I told Josh(husband) that it almost feels like I’m starting to really become, me.

Josh(artist) was really great and his artistic abilities are out of this world. I’m going back sometime around mid April to do my shading. I CAN’T WAIT to see it finished.

(It’s so beautiful grama. I wish you could see it…)

Pictures to come.

The date is set…

I’ve finally done it.

March 25th is the date.

Josh is the name of my artist; I can’t wait to be apart of his giant canvas.

Great Grama this one’s for you.
