Gateway Generate Night of Worship…
This last Friday night I went to the Gateway Southlake campus for their Generate Night of Worship. It was 2 hours of AMAZING, WONDERFUL, FREEDOM FILLED, PASSIONATE worship to Jesus. I didn’t know just how much I needed to soak in His presence until we were 3 songs in and I was already in tears. I absolutely loved being in the midst of so many believers worshiping in spirit and in truth.
One of the things they did was offer communion at the edge of the stage. They told people they could come down as they were ready and take part. I loved watching people go in droves down to the front. People didn’t just walk down they praised Jesus as they went. Singing loud and worshiping before him. It was beautiful and such a blessing to be apart of.
After it was over I just breathed deep and thanked the Father for such a sweet time. Just as I did that the lady sitting if front of me turned and said, “Honey, I don’t know who you are, but I hope you are serving somewhere with that beautiful voice of yours. I want to be standing next to you in Heaven. It was a blessing.” I laughed and thanked her. Then I looked to my friend sitting next to me and said, “Little does she know what I just gave over to Jesus tonight.”
