Moneyball and a little Jesus…
My honey and I last night watched Moneyball with Brad Pit, Jonah Hill, and Philip Seymour Hoffman just to name a few. It was good! I’m not a baseball fan, but I do enjoy a good movie about sports and we’d heard good reviews from friends about it.
There were a few amazing quotes in the movie. The one that stood out to me most was said by Brad Pits character, Billie. He said, “How can you not be romantic about baseball?” I LOVE THAT QUOTE. Not because I love baseball, but because I can turn that quote around and apply it to Jesus.
How can you not be romantic about Jesus? Or, how can you not be romantic about worship?
My heart just screams YES when I hear that!
